"This is a spectacular play. None of our directors chose it - probably daunted by the production demands. Great stuff though!"
Pisgah Players, University of North Carolina Literature Department, 1997
"This is a very odd piece. Compelling, poetic, and yet essentially distancing...Shape wise, there is an interesting build from intimacy with the bomb to distancing from it -- i.e. politicians and the military -- back to the personal...(theme?) those who kill distance themselves...the entire play is like a lament... Book ending the play with the woman searching for her family is very effective, the language poetic and true to the characters...the language of the chorus is particularly well done. Poetic and affecting."
